The texture is great, looks more expensive than it is.

Ordered the coffee color in size small and honestly it's one of the best online purchases I've made this year. The fabric feels dense and structured without being stiff, and the shorter length hits right above the knee which is so flattering.
I specifically needed something for crisp fall mornings when a full winter coat feels like overkill. The Aliya hits that sweet spot perfectly. The high-density fabric actually blocks the wind better than I expected at this price.
The silhouette on this coat is genuinely impressive for the price. I got the black in XS and the fit through the waist with the belt is so flattering. The one thing I noticed is the belt itself is a bit thin compared to what the photos suggest, but it still looks great tied.
I was skeptical about the shortened length because I usually prefer longer trenches, but it actually looks incredibly modern. Paired it with wide-leg trousers in the coffee color and the proportions are chef's kiss. Fabric quality feels premium, not at all like a budget coat.

The outside of this coat is genuinely beautiful. The brown color is rich, the double-breasted buttons are well-made, and the belt is functional and cute. The issue is the lining is quite thin and it's not really warm enough for anything below about 55 degrees, which limits when I can actually wear it.

The only thing I'd tweak is the belt buckle hardware, it feels slightly lightweight compared to the rest of the coat's quality.

I've bought trenches at twice this price that don't look as put-together as the Aliya. The double-breasted front lays flat, the lapels are sharp, and the belt actually stays tied throughout the day. I have the black and it photographs beautifully which is honestly a bonus I didn't expect.
This coat delivers on every front except I wish the sizing ran just slightly bigger through the upper back. I ordered my usual medium in black and it's a touch snug when I move my arms forward. Sizing up to large fits perfectly but then the waist is a bit loose, so just something to be aware of.
The waist belt is seriously the MVP of this coat. It transforms the silhouette from basic to actually shaped and flattering. You can also leave it unbuttoned if you want an oversized vibe.
The shortened length is such a smart design choice. It keeps you from looking like you're wearing your mom's old coat, and it actually works with the way people dress now instead of against it.
